Our Story

Since its foundation in 1960 by Geoffrey Harrington, Harrington Nurseries has remained a family-run horticultural business, based in Wisbech. Today the nursery is proudly managed by the third generation of the family, carrying forward decades of hands-on expertise and an unwavering passion for growing quality climbing plants.

At our core is a commitment to horticultural excellence. Over the years, we’ve evolved alongside the industry, invested in modern growing facilities and scaled our production—yet our values remain firmly grounded in personal service, craftsmanship and trust.

What We Do

We specialise in premium climbing plants, providing an unrivalled focus on this category.
Each year we produce approximately 800,000 plants, designed to meet the demands of high-volume, B2B clients including major supermarkets and leading retailers across the UK.
Strategically located at 45 Burrettgate Road, Wisbech (PE14 7BN), we operate in one of England’s key horticultural regions—giving us access to excellent growing conditions and logistics for national distribution.
Our work encompasses the full lifecycle of production: from careful propagation and nurturing, through to fine finishing and delivery readiness—ensuring every plant meets our exacting standards of health, structure and presentation.
